YOUR ARTWORK & YOUR PRIVACY

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains how the current 3D My Logo app at 3dmylogo.com handles information when you explore samples, select artwork, capture a photo, or generate a lightbox preview.

At a glance

Files and artwork you choose

The app reads selected PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, PDF, EPS, PostScript and compatible Illustrator files in your browser. Documents render their first page; EPS and PostScript conversion runs in an isolated browser worker. SVG artwork is also rasterized for the preview. Cropping and image resizing happen in your browser before upload. The original filename is shown locally; the processing request uses the generic filename “artwork.png.”

When you apply artwork, the app sends a normalized PNG and your background-removal settings to 3dmylogo.com. Visible content in that image—including any names, faces or other personal information—is part of the upload. The app does not intentionally copy the original file’s EXIF metadata into the normalized PNG. Please choose artwork you have permission to use and avoid submitting unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

The server removes the background if requested, traces the outline and returns processed artwork and shape data. Your browser uses that response to display the 3D concept. This workflow does not send uploads to an external AI service or use them to train a model.

Camera access

The camera opens only after you choose “Use camera” and allow access through your browser. Live video stays in your browser; the app does not stream it to our server or request microphone access. “Capture framed photo” takes a still image cropped to the on-screen guide. It is sent to the server if you subsequently apply that artwork, or send an enquiry with current artwork included.

The app stops its camera stream after capture, when the camera dialog closes, or when the page is hidden or left. You can also revoke camera permission in your browser settings.

Enquiries and attachments

When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, description and selected example reference. If you opt to include your current artwork and preview, the submission also contains the selected original files (including vectors or PDFs), a preview image, prepared artwork where available, and model settings. Additional files are optional. Original files may retain embedded metadata.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry. Enquiry details and submitted files that pass basic upload checks are emailed to info@3dmylogo.com, including any onward forwarding configured for that address. Files flagged by these checks are withheld from email and retained for review. Files are stored in private server quarantine outside the public website, with file-type and basic suspicious-content checks. These checks are not a full antivirus scan. Private server copies remain in quarantine pending review; passing the basic checks does not certify an emailed file as virus-free.

Storage and retention

Normalized images submitted for preview processing are also retained in private quarantine for security inspection and to link processing references with enquiries. Enquiry records, attachment identifiers and settings are stored privately. No public download URL or artwork library is created.

Records and quarantined files remain until reviewed and deleted by the site operator; there is currently no automatic deletion schedule. You can request deletion by emailing info@3dmylogo.com and providing your enquiry reference. Email copies and hosting backups may have separate retention. Closing the page clears its in-memory artwork but does not delete submitted records.

Security cookies and technical information

When you request server-side processing, the app uses an essential first-party PHP session cookie to associate your browser with a security token and request-rate limits. Enquiry submissions additionally use a hidden spam field and a minimum completion time. Hashed IP identifiers and request counts support one-hour rate-limit windows; expired entries are removed on subsequent requests. The app uses these checks to prevent spam and upload abuse. The cookie is configured with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict attributes. It is a session cookie rather than a deliberately persistent tracking cookie; browsers may restore session cookies when restoring a session. Server-side session cleanup follows the hosting configuration. Blocking this cookie can prevent preview generation.

Like most hosted websites, the web server and hosting provider may record technical information such as IP addresses, request dates, requested URLs, browser details, response codes and errors. These records support operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. The app does not deliberately log image contents. Hosting log and backup retention is controlled by the hosting configuration; no fixed deletion period for those records is promised here. Contact us if you need details about a particular request.

Cursor motion, downloads and external links

Cursor position and scroll position are used locally to animate the header logo and background. The current app does not send those movement events to a tracking service. Reduced-motion preferences are read locally from your browser.

“Save image” creates a preview image in your browser and downloads it to your device. It does not upload the downloaded image or create a public share link.

The “Photo scaling tool” link opens scale.3dmylogo.com. This app does not automatically transfer your selected artwork to that tool. Processing on that separate site is outside this policy; review its information before using it. The current app serves its rendering libraries and decorative assets from its own hosting rather than embedding third-party advertising or social-media widgets.

Who can receive information

Image-processing requests and technical information pass through the hosting infrastructure used to operate 3dmylogo.com. Authorized administrators and hosting providers may have access necessary for operation, security or troubleshooting. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law. The current app does not sell personal information or share uploads for targeted advertising.

Hosting infrastructure may process information outside your location, where different laws may apply. Contact us for hosting-location details before submitting information if location is important to you.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can explore the samples without submitting artwork, use file selection instead of the camera, decline camera permission, and choose not to apply an image. You can clear site cookies through your browser and manage downloaded files on your device.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to raise a concern with a privacy regulator. Contact us to make a request. The enquiry reference helps us locate saved records and related files. We may need limited information to verify and locate a request; please do not send unnecessary identity documents or sensitive artwork by email.
